Kos,
I hear you're with the Inquisition now. What do you make of them? I've some information they might find interesting but you know how I feel about sharing with strangers.
You can leave a reply at the Green Harpy on Water Street and it will get to me.

Enchanter Averesch, I have a request to make of you, if you wouldn't mind.
[ A beat, then less formally: ]
I'll give you a few moments to warm up your pained sighing before I continue.

That he's in the corner of the Hanged Man isn't perhaps the most surprising thing ever. Anders has been coming here from time to time to socialize and unwind. What may be surprising is how many mugs are on the table next to him, lined up neatly, and how his very deliberate motions as he carefully picks up one from the middle suggests that he may be drunk.
I've been invited to a party with the Viscount. Is this your doing?
How do you feel about the thought of babysitting a young Tevinter mage while he's in the library? He's young, potentially unpredictable, definitely scared, and you'd have your choice of with a Templar or not.
[ At some point after Nevarra, Beleth has called Kostos in the discus various advisor things, look over paperwork with her, etc. After that’s finished, and before Kostos can leave, she stands from her chair, and leans against the desk, facing him. ]
You never mentioned that you were a twin, too, Kostos. Between us and the Hawkes, we’ll have enough to start a club, soon.

[Simon has really, truly never wanted to know what any part of Kostos tastes like, and now he is saddled with that knowledge nonetheless (though he is, at least, in good and numerous company there.) It's half his fault, anyway. He probably shouldn't have bitten. He maintains that it was reflex.
He could insist that the attempt to smother him was deliberate, as calculated as if Kostos had pressed a pillow over his mouth rather than just a sleeping arm, but for once, not even Simon can go that far. There comes a point where the outrage and suspicion are just performative, and whenever someone flings a pointed remark about his guilty conscience at him, memories skirt quickly around the edges of his brain before he shoves them back into submission--Circle runaways tied with twine, shackled to objects, one of them carried over his shoulder like a potato sack.
He waits until the room is empty but for Kostos before he speaks.]
I want to ask you something.

Serah Averesch-- [There'd ordinarily be niceties here but Myr thinks--doesn't know, but thinks--from the measure he's got of Kostos that that would be unwelcome.] You're a friend of Casimir's.
[It's almost but not quite a question.]
[It's almost but not quite a question.]
Kostos.
[There's a beat of hesitation. He's not certain how to phrase this.]
I know where you stand on the Circles. And yet you fought alongside Nell. So I'm wondering if you'd be interested in joining with a community of mages who aren't for the Circles.

Has anything strange been happening to you lately? Strange episodes?
[ Gareth's voice is quiet--not angry, just quiet. He trusts Kostos, but--He has to ask. ]
...Did you really agree to it? To keeping us locked up in here?

A,
Don’t tell them you fancy a little sun and sand. Not that I expect the seaside’s any more pleasant.
You've certainly been busy. Another templar in charge of this post; tattoos up half his face. Must be mandatory for a title now — careful not to stain yours, neither blue or red come out of rope.
At night here, the wind howls. The darkspawn howl. The wardens howl. The varghests howl. I’m about to begin myself if they don’t give it a fucking rest. Up in the tower it's harder to care. The entire horizon fills up with this blazing light: translucent, shimmering. Like the Maker’s own fire.
Will your friends disown me, if admit I missed a view?

Colin is in a great mood. He made it the whole day yesterday with no spells being thrown at him and assumes that means the phylacteries have been retrieved. Which might mean his own is in Inquisition hands right now, which he's not super happy about but at least he's not almost dying once a day. In Anders' absence, he has been at the clinic in Darktown during the day. He comes back to his shop late in the afternoon and leans against the counter so he can stretch a knotted muscle out of his neck and shoulder. He'd heard the ship returned from the phylactery mission. He's sure he'll hear details soon.
Have you heard anything on when the leadership will address the fact that they have a great many phylacteries in their possession?
[If Nell doesn't know, the Loyalist may.]

[ Nell's room is meant for at least two, so if she sits on the windowsill and he stays on the bed or at the desk, they won't be constantly echoing in the background of each other's messages. But she turns to look at him now, distinctly unimpressed. ]
A partial strike only of combat mages? That's a terrible idea. Do they have your balls in that vault with my phylactery?

I'm glad I waited until Kirkwall to join up, Skyhold is fucking freezing. Also someone named Lanita? asked me to tell you hello. And then not to. And then to tell you she "hopes the Inquisition puts you in the stocks because of this strike so that you get rotten fruit in your hair."
[ Nell's message begins with a laugh, sardonic, maybe a little drunk. ]
Of course now there's outrage about the injustice of it all. Maker forbid anything happen to their precious rifters.

If I promise to try to talk less, would you help me with improving my field magic? And congratulations on the win.
Are they sending you, or Elris?
[ hi, hello, whatever ]

[ Crystal, at some random time shortly after they return to Kirkwall. She starts already in Nevarran. ]
Are you alone?

A Complaint
Is there a form for these? I feel like there should be a form, and that makes this two complaints:
1) There is no suggested template for complaints.
2) Roll Call, a highly important part of any functioning organization, was entirely neglected and even treated disdainfully by those in charge of the Hostile Powers Project.
I do hope these issues may soon be addressed.
Sincerely Nathaniel's,
Anders

What is your [stupid fucking] project doing about fucking Tevinter?
[you assface, the last person he wants to talk to, which is why he asks this like he's mad, because he is]
I hear the Inquisition is pretending to give a shit about the slave population.
