He is a bastard, and can the Archon even be a real precedent for anyone else? The only other mages that are anything at all like the Archon in any way are other vint magisters. Doesn't showing we're as against them as anybody else help us, and help people distinguish between them and us? I don't want anyone thinking I think the Archon's one of us.
